Description

At the end of the course trainees will be able to:
•    Practice welding and cutting by using the Oxy Acetylene, the electric arc and the inert gas in different positions.
•    Describe the differentiations in the methods of testing metals.
•    Explain and practice the kinds and the methods of cutting and explain the defects of welding.

Course Outlines:
•    Safety and security in welding.
•    Identifying the equipment used in welding.
•    Maintenance and repair by cutting systems and by various cutting process.
•    The principal procedures of metals and the thermal heating.
•    Describe and identify the various ferrous metals and the non-ferrous metals.
•    Determine and understand the places influenced by heating and its effect on metals.
•     Placements of welding: vertical and horizontal.
•    Oxy Acetylene welding.
•    Electric arc welding.
•    Welding by using inert gas.
•    Welding according standards.
•    Soft skills.

•    240 hour
•    12 weeks
•    5 days / week
•    4 hours / day
